About Me
Jeremy Bennett, PharmD, BCACP
Dr. Bennett is a licensed and board-certified pharmacist practicing in a primary care clinic. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of Georgia before completing his pharmacy studies at Mercer University College of Pharmacy. In 2018, Dr. Bennett earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree graduating Summa Cum Laude and also being the first in his family to earn a doctoral level degree.
Upon graduating, Dr. Bennett completed a Post Graduate Year-1 (PGY-1) Pharmacy Practice Residency with the Atlanta VA Health Care System and began practicing in a primary care clinic in 2019. Given his desire to continue to hone in on his skills, he sought and obtained his Board-Certification in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy (BCACP), a certification only held by only 3000 pharmacists nationally and only 4 in the Henry County area.
In his current role, Dr. Bennett provides Comprehensive Care Management under a Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) with 3 physicians. His primary roles include Diabetes and Heart Failure management, anticoagulation monitoring, formulary reviews, and population health management addressing underrepresented patients. He now has returned to his hometown of Henry County to help individuals on the Southside of Atlanta beyond the patients he currently serves.
